Donor Stories
Basketball was Ralph's passion at Ashland College when he was a student. And, it only grew stronger as the years went by, and by, and by! Ralph celebrated his 100th birthday as a resident at Belmont Towers, Brethren Care Village with the entire A.U. basketball team, Tuffy the Eagle mascot, former President Benz and numerous friends and relatives. Ralph recalled how he and Mary had attended not only all the home games but traveled to nearly all the away games until age simply kept them from it! Ralph and Mary sent monthly checks to help the basketball team with special needs and topped it off by gifting their home to endow and continue that tradition.
